This white hailing from the Aegean Islands of Greece is nothing short of pleasant! Think tangy notes of green apple, sweet, subtle melon and a bit of peppery spice. Plus, it's totally organic.

Though just a 1.5 hour, high speed boat ride away from Santorini, the island of Paros could not be more different. The island is vibrantly lush in comparison to the hardscrabble terroir of Santorini. The Moraitis Winery can be found just up the road from the picturesque old fishing port of Naussa. Manolis Moraitis is an affable man whose grandfather started this winery in 1910.

Though grapes are grown on many parts of the island, his is one of only two wineries, the other being the coop. There are 1200 hectares of vineyards on the island and Manolis owns 35 and is planting more, producing 45,000 cases of wine each year from his own and purchased grapes.

Terms & Regulations
To attend this event you must purchase a ticket in advance. The $30 price includes $10 for the seminar fee and $20 toward the purchase of wine or other products from CoolVines, which are consumed at the event. Attendees can choose a “seminar-only” ticket for $10 if they do not wish to participate in the tasting.  The $20 portion of your ticket will be applied toward the purchase of 1 or more bottles of wine or other product from CoolVines, which will be consumed at the event.  Your wine will be delivered to the seminar venue for your convenience.  It is encouraged that participants offer their bottles to share with the group so that all participants are able to taste all products at the event.  48-hr cancellation notice is required for refund. Cancellations received after that time will be refunded at the sole discretion of CoolVines. No-shows will not receive a refund.
