Ameztoi "Stimatum" Txakolina Red 2023

Surely one of the most geeky wines on the planet, this is a rare red wine from the predominantly white wine appellation of Getariako Txakolina in the Basque region of Spain. A spicy, herbaceous wine with tart berry red fruit and bright acidity. There is a stick tickle of residual carbonation here as well, as is the custom in this unique wine region.
