Paolo Bea "Arboreus" Umbria Blanco 2017
Grapes - Trebbiano Spoletino
Origin - Umbria, Italy
Style - Traditional
Farming Practices
Made from the Trebbiano clone called "Trebbiano Spoletino" which is trained so that the fruit hangs high above the ground. The wine is left in contact with the skins for up to three weeks or more and is then aged in stainless steel tanks for at least two years prior to bottling. Sulfur is never added. A full-figured amber-hued wine that's weighty, lush, and utterly delicious. Golden apricots, orange peel, honey, and white flower.
