Champagne Saint-Chamant Blanc de Blancs NV

A fascinating small producer located in Epernay. For 70 years, the winery was almost single-handedly run by the great Christian Coquillette. Since his recent passing, his son Stephane has ably taken the reigns. A distinct, decidedly "old-school" style of Champagne, with long lees aging, creating a very toasty, brioche flavor alongside earthy orchard fruit.
