Valfaccenda Roero 2021

Located across the Tanaro river from the more famous Barbaresco and Barolo, Roero will always live in the Nebbiolo shadows. We are fine with that. The sandy terroir makes a gorgeously aromatic example of the grape, and Valfaccenda is the appellation's best producer. Roero is always more accessible at a young age than Barolo, and this 2021 is a stunner as soon as the cork is popped.
