Michel Gahier Macvin du Jura

A specialty of the Jura region, Macvin is similar to Pineau de Charantes in that it is unfermented grape must which is concentrated through heat and then fortified with unaged brandy. The result is a beautiful aperitif liqueur that makes a wonderful pairing for hard cheeses and dried fruit.
