Baricchi "Rose delle Casasse" Barbaresco Riserva 2017

This is one of the few examples of the mythic "Nebbiolo Rose" variety, which produces an exceptionally aromatic version of the grape. Baricchi produces all their wines as "Riserva" as the grapes sees extended aging in cask and bottle. 2017 was a tricky vintage with heat spikes, but this bottling is a triumph. There are more tannins here than usual, so give it a generous decant or lay the bottle down for a few years.
