Fongoli Montefalco Sagrantino 2017

Fongoli is an ultra-traditional estate in Umbria that has recently converted to biodynamic farming and makes two cuvees of sagrantino. This one is made from the younger vines and feels more ethereal and transparent than most sagrantinos that are made to impress than delight. This is a must-try for fans of traditional Italian wines time has forgotten.
