Alban Vineyards "Patrina" Edna Valley Syrah 2021

John Alban is a pioneer of Syrah in California (so much so that many other vintners plant the "Alban clone" of the grape in their vineyards). This wine is sourced from multiple sites and rests for 2 years in barrel before bottling. A rich, deep wine with a light floral note brought on by the addition of 10% Viognier, ala Cote-Rotie.
