Athanasiou "Classic Cuvee" Nemea 2021

This cuvee from a terrific grower in the Peloponnese is sourced from 50 year old Agiorgitiko vines and aged for one year in oak barrels. The result is a broadly-textured, richly fruited wine showing black fruit and hints of vanilla with tannins that are present, but nicely smoothed-out.
