Bruno Verdi Buttafuoco

First off, this rather unfortunate sounding name means "Fire-thrower" in Italian and originally meant the medieval occupation of artillery specialist. It probably refers to peppery, spicy character of the Croatina grape, but here it is ameliorated by Uva Rara and Barbera which add body and brightness, making it a complete wine of rare balance and intensity.
