Domaine de L'Aigle a Deux Tetes "Batard Vernambaud" Chardonnay 2023

The allusion here to "Batard", as in grand cru white Burgundy is apt, as this deep, intriguing Chardonnay from a special plot of vines in the Jura is a phenomenal bottle of wine. Fermentation in steel before elevage in small oak barrels. This wine is "topped-up" so no oxidation, but the unique Jurassic influence of minerality is on full display.
