Domaine Economou Antigone 2004

A truly remarkable producer. Yiannis Economou produces unbelievably complex wines from a little known terroir in eastern Crete, from an otherwise pedestrian grape (Liatiko). Think something like mature Barolo, with lots of earthy floral tones and dried red fruit flavors.
