Ghislaine Barthod "Les Graviers" Bourgogne Blanc

Ghislaine Barthod produces iconic Pinot Noir from the famed village of Chambolle-Musigny. About ten years ago, Ghislane and her son Clement planted a small parcel in the village to Chardonnay, yielding the first white wine of the estate, and a rare example of Chardonnay from this village. The results are amazing, with a hint of earthiness emerging from a core of ripe citrus and orchard fruit. Excellent.
