Jean-Marc Pillot "Les Grandes Terres" Bourgone Rouge

Chassagne-Montrachet is the only famous white wine village in Burgundy that produces a significant amount of red wine as well. Jean-Marc produces some of the village's best, right down to this richly-fruited Bourgogne Rouge, sourced from 60+ year old vines just outside the village. Ripe red cherry fruit and hints of foresty earthiness abound here.
