Glengyle operates for only a few weeks each year, making every bottle an endangered species. This expression benefits from an incredibly long fermentation (up to 110 hours) in boat-skin larch washbacks, which creates its deeply complex, fruity, and oily profile before it spends 8 years extracting rich vanilla and oak structure from ex-bourbon casks.
