An iconic Italian wine, "Le Pergole Torte" was first produced in 1971 to prove that Sangiovese is capable of true elegance. Though routinely listed among the great "Super Tuscans," there is no Cabernet Sauvignon here. 2020 is a lush, sumptuous wine capable of enjoyment now with a considerable decant.
