Nortico Alvarinho

Alvarinho is a Portuguese spelling of Albarino, the most fashionable Spanish white wine grape wine in Spain. Just across the border from Galicia, is the Vinho Verde region in Portugal. Moncao e Melgaco is a special sub-zone here, and is THE place for Alvarinho , which achieves better ripeness because of a warmer terroir. Boisterous flavors of lime citrus with a hint of white nectarine. Salty, crisp and bone dry.
