Matthias Orsett "L'arene" Chasselas 2024

Orsett trained with Jura legend Pierre Overnoy before striking out on his own in the dramatic and beautiful terroir of Valais, Switzerland. His wines are produced with fastidious organic practices and no added sulfur. Chasselas is the primary white variety of the region, but Orsett's version is unlike any we have ever tasted. Six days maceration produces an unctuous, opulent wine with a wild, earthy edge.
