Giuseppe Quintarelli "Primofiore" Veneto Rosso

Quintarelli produces some of the world's most special wines. While their signature wine is the powerful Amarone, all the cuvees have some degree of apassimento, or drying of the grapes. Primofiore is their first release each year. While it is meant to be their most approachable wine, the grapes still undergo one month of apassimento before fermentation. The result is a rich wine with ripe fig and plum flavors, along with spicy, herbaceous accents thanks to the including of Cabernet Franc.
