Roland Lavantureux "Beauroy" Chablis 1er Cru

Lavantreaux is a slightly under-the-radar producer that quietly produces profound examples of Chablis from excellent sites. This lesser-known Premier Cru vineyard sits facing south, which allows for a slightly more opulent example of Chardonnay than typically expected in the village. The wine also sees some oak barrel during aging with helps to accentuate the depth and power here. However, it's still Chablis, so expect an empirically refreshing wine that will pair beautifully well with any seafood you can throw at it.
