Bachelet-Monnot "Clos de la Boutiere" Maranges Rouge 1er Cru 2023

This premier cru is located at a lower altitude than their "Fussiere" parcel. As a result there is more clay in the soil which gives the wine a richer, heftier profile showing darker fruit and lots of earthy spice. The vines here are nearly a century old, giving serious depth here.
