Chateau Montlandrie Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux 2011

This wine was aged in 50% new oak barrels which provides the perfect amount of structure to help this Merlot-based wine age beautifully in the bottle. There is still a dense core of dark red fruit here, balanced by secondary flavors of earth of dusty spice. 2011 is a very underrated vintage in Bordeaux and this bottle is proof of that.
